True Northern Trophy Adventures
Experience the Wild Heart of Manitoba, Canada
Built on tradition and driven by experience, our outfitting operation delivers more than just a hunt—it delivers a true wilderness pursuit.
Step into the untouched backcountry and experience the Canadian North the way it’s meant to be. Our hunts take place in some of Manitoba’s most pristine and remote wilderness—where opportunity and adventure meet, far from the noise and pressure of the modern world.
With decades of hands-on guiding across rugged terrain, every detail has been refined to provide a seamless, high-success experience. From the moment you arrive in camp to the final recovery, our crew goes the extra mile—rain, snow, or shine—to ensure your hunt is safe, successful, and unforgettable.
Our hunts are selective, our standards are high, and our results speak for themselves. Whether you're after a mature black bear, a heavy-antlered whitetail, a once-in-a-lifetime northern Canadian moose, or the challenge of pursuing one of North America’s most elusive predators—the wolf—you can expect fair chase, strategic setups, and the kind of adrenaline that keeps you coming back.
It’s the real thing—earned, authentic, and unforgettable.
Fly-In Moose Hunting
True North Trophy Adventures holds exclusive rights to a vast, remote hunting territory in northern Manitoba—an area few will ever set foot in, and even fewer will ever hunt. Situated approximately 120 air miles north of Thompson and accessible only by float plane, this is true wilderness in every sense of the word.
Set along the legendary Churchill River, this region offers some of Manitoba’s most productive moose habitat. Expansive boreal forest, untouched wetlands, and nutrient-rich river systems create ideal conditions for growing and holding mature bulls.
Whitetail Hunts
If you’re after a true, free-range giant, Manitoba’s Parkland Region is where you want to be. This is as real as whitetail hunting gets—no fences, no bait, no shortcuts—just big-bodied northern bucks thriving in wild country.
Our hunting area spans over 4,200 square miles of dense timber and boreal bush, bordered by rich private agriculture. This combination creates ideal conditions for growing mature, heavy-antlered whitetails while offering the cover and security they need to reach their full potential.
Rut Winter Wolf Hunts
The Duck Mountains are home to one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems in Manitoba—prime country for wolves. This wild region consistently holds a strong wolf population, making it one of the top wolf hunting destinations in North America.
Wolves here come in an incredible range of colour phases, from brown and grey to white, black, and even red. Every hunt offers a true wilderness experience and the chance to pursue one of the most elusive predators on the continent.
Hunters are allowed a limit of two wolves, giving you the chance to experience the thrill of the chase and bring home a trophy from the wild north.
Black Bear Hunts
We also offer both spring and fall black bear hunts in the remote wilderness of Manitoba. Whether you prefer rifle, muzzleloader, shotgun, crossbow, or bow, our hunts are built to match your style and maximize your opportunity.
Our hunting area spans over 3,000 square miles across the Northern Interlake Region—some of the most untouched and lightly pressured bear country in the province, with large sections that see little to no hunting activity.
This is prime habitat, holding strong populations and consistently producing mature boars in a range of color phases. With carefully managed setups, experienced guides, and a focus on low-pressure hunting, every stand is placed with purpose.
Upland Game Bird
Your upland game bird tag gives you access to Ruffed Grouse, Sharp-Tailed Grouse, Hungarian Partridge, and Spruce Grouse. What makes this hunt truly special is the solitude—few other hunters venture into this wilderness, giving you the perfect opportunity to bring your dog and enjoy a more relaxed, close-range approach on the birds.
This area remains an unintentional hidden gem, offering some of the best upland bird hunting in Manitoba—raw, wild, and virtually untouched.
True North Hunting Reminder
Our hunts are fair-chase experiences, not guaranteed kills. You’ll have the chance to hunt in some of the most remote and pristine wilderness few people ever get to see. We do everything possible to provide a successful hunt, but more importantly, one that allows you to fully enjoy the rugged beauty of northern Manitoba.
Hunting in this country means being ready for anything. Your trophy may appear on the first day—or the last moment of your hunt. Shots can last a split second or several minutes, so it’s crucial to familiarize yourself with judging the quality of an animal before arriving. Recommended resources include the Boone & Crockett Club record book, our brochure, and our website.
Wounding a big game animal is unfortunate and usually preventable. It is every hunter’s responsibility to practice extensively with their chosen weapon and make sound, ethical decisions when taking a shot. If you have questions about sizing or judging your target, we will review everything with you at camp before your hunt begins.
